An Indian student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has created digital ice cubes that warn people when they've had enough to drink.
Last year, engineering student Dhairya Dand found himself in hospital after he overdid it on a night out.
So, the 23-year-old created ice cubes that would warn fellow drinkers - a set of early warning ice cubes he's named Cheers, the Daily Mail reported.
The cubes - made from gelatine implanted with LED lights and technology to tell how often the glass they're in is lifted - change from green, to orange, to red, depending on how quickly and how much their owner is consuming.
If the person continues once the red warning light has started flashing, it sends a message to pals informing them that the drinker needs to be taken home. (ANI)
