Taoiseach Enda Kenny has spent the weekend in Boston, Massachusetts furthering the strength of U.S. -Ireland relations.

On Monday morning the Taoiseach was scheduled to attend a business breakfast hosted by IDA and Enterprise Ireland to promote Ireland as a location for trade, business and investment.
Later on Monday the Taoiseach will be at Boston College where he will be presented with an honorary doctorate. He has also been invited to give the commencement address to over 3,000 students of the graduating class of 2013. The event, which marks the 150th anniversary of Boston College, will take place in the college football stadium, with an attendance of over 20,000.
